Prince Congratulates new Thai King

His Royal Highness The Prince has sent a letter of congratulations to His Majesty The King of Thailand on His Majesty’s acceptance to take the throne and become the tenth monarch of the Chakri Dynasty which has ruled Thailand (called Siam until 1940) since 1782. King Vajiralongkorn succeded his well beloved father King Bhumibol Adulyadej who died on 13 October 2016 at the age of 88 after a 70 year reign.

Flags to half-staff in honour of late Thai King

HIS ROYAL HIGHNESS THE PRINCE has commanded that all Kaharagian flags at the Royal Residence and abroad should be flown at half-staff in memory of the late King of Thailand. His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej was the longest reigning monarch in the rule, assuming the throne after the death of his brother King Ananda Mahidol on 9 June 1946. In his over 70 year reign the King became a well beloved figure whose selfless devotion to his people was known around the world.

His Royal Highness also sent a personal letter of sympathy to His Royal Highness Crown Prince Maha Vajiralongkorn who is expected to become king in the coming weeks and another to Her Royal Highness Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, who HRH The Prince admires for her devotion to the Thai people much like her father.

Prince’s Congratulations for Cambodian King’s Accession Anniversary

His Royal Highness The Prince of Kaharagia sent a letter to His Majesty The King of Cambodia congratulating him on the 12th Anniversary of his accession to the Cambodian throne. His Royal Highness sent his best wishes for His Majesty, Her Majesty Queen Mother Norodom Monineath, and the Cambodian people. The King was elected by a royal family council after the abdication of his father Norodom Sihanouk in 2004.

26th Anniversary of Transnistria

His Royal Highness The Prince sent a letter of congratulations to His Excellency Mr. Yevgeniy Vasilyevich Shevchuk, President of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic to congratulate him on the 25th Anniversary of Transnistrian Independence. The Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic is a small country situated between the Republic of Moldavia and Ukraine.
