Princess Sheillia Resign
His Royal Highness The Prince sent a letter of condolence to the Governor-General of New Zealand to express his grief on behalf of the Kaharagian People. The letter is reproduced below.
The longest night of the year has come and gone, and with it a promise of light for each night after. It is crucial in these trying times full of uncertaintiy, to look for that small gleam of light that can always be found even in the most profound darkness. 2018 has tested many, plunging people into the darkness of fear, sorrow, and destruction. It is Our hope, that in the coming year the people plagued by doubt and worry will find a reprieve. The California Wildfires have wreaked havoc, and is but one of many natural disasters to strike this year. The Hawaiian eruption was another blazing display of nature’s might. These natural disasters are testament to Global Warming, and a vision of the future, should the world not act in unison. Beyond disasters of the natural variety, shooting again took the front page in news around the United States. There seem to be more and more school shootings with each year. Even History itself was not immune to hardship, as the The Museu Nacional of Brazil was reduced to ash in a fire, losing 200 years of irreplaceable artefacts from Egypt, Greco-Roman art, and some fo the first fossils found in the country.
Despite this year of fire, again, there is a promise of light. Even in this darkness, there was still good to be had in the world, and it shows that the human spirit always endures. Science made great strides in the fight against breast cancer, cutting deaths below 39%, saving the lives of over 300,000 women. The world added nearly 30% more solar energy capacity in 2017. Giant Pandas are no longer endangered and China is going to oversee the building of a massive conservation park. These facts and more show that the world is healing, even if it is doing so slowly. These are the gleams of light in the darkness of uncertainty that all must look to for hope.
The Christmas season is about peace, and hope, and light. It is the season of mending. Not just of the body, or or the land, but of the spirit. Through our trust in God, we will continue on through the darkness together as humanity has and always will. Together will travel toward the light, and toward the new year.
With all good wishes this Holiday season and a Happy Christmas,
MAXIMILIAN, by the Grace of God, Prince of Kaharagia, etc., etc., etc., to all to whom these Presents shall come, Greeting!

His Royal Highness The Prince of Kaharagia sent a letter to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II to congratulate her on the occasion of her Sapphire Jubilee. For sixty-five years, Her Majesty has reigned as Queen of the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and 12 other realms. Her Majesty is also Head of the Commonwealth of Nations, an intergovernmental organisation of 52 states – most of which were part of the British Empire.
His Royal Highness The Prince released a statement on the death of beloved actress Carrie Fisher known for playing Princess Leia in George Lucas’s Star Wars saga.
I was sadden to hear of the passing of Carrie Fisher. Carrie was a wonderfully outspoken actress and writer; more important she was a mental health activist who made humor out of her darkest days. My thoughts and prayers are with her mother Debbie Reynolds, her daughter Billie Lourde, along with the rest of her family, friends, and fans.
As we near the end of what has been a tumultuous year, it is important to reflect on what has passed, as we look forward to what is to come. 2016 has been a year that not many will look back on fondly. Terror has again gripped the world this year with terrorist attacks across the globe such as the Bastille Day attack in Nice, the Orlando shooting, The Istanbul airport attack, and the recent attack in Berlin at a Christmas market. We send our most sincere condolences and sympathies to the families affected by these heinous crimes against humanity. With the outbreak of the Zika Virus epidemic, many more people and families—both current and future—were afflicted. Beyond these matters and many more, the too-large-a-number of deaths of beloved artists such as Prince and David Bowie, renowned actors such as Alan Rickman and Gene Wilder, and public figures like Muhammed Ali and Nancy Reagan, seemed to further sting like salt on a fresh wound.
The most spectacular thing about humanity, however bad its ailment or affliction, is its desire to endure and persevere. Though seemingly eclipsed by the bad, 2016’s brightest stars still shone through the darkness. The Standing Rock tribe’s victory against the Dakota Access Pipeline proved that human good can triumph over corporate greed, saving the tribe’s water supply and sacred lands. Kaharagia stands with Standing Rock. We also supported the Refugee Olympic Team in this year’s Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. Not only did human kind rise above this year, but our four legged friends even took a step forward. The wild tiger population has increased for the first time in 100 years and not only that, but the giant panda population is no longer endangered!
God has ensured that good will always triumph over evil, and with 2017 just on the horizon, we seemed poised to do just that. With togetherness, friendship and love, Kaharagia and the world can cross the divide together as one people, enduring the even the worst of what evil has to pitifully throw our way.
With all good wishes this Holiday season and a Merry Christmas,
His Royal Highness The Prince sent a letter to His Holiness The Bishop of Rome (Pope Francis) on the occasion of His Holiness’s upcoming 80th birthday on 17 December.
