Security & Confidentiality
All volunteers, regardless of level or nationality, are required to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) before undertaking any duties. This is a foundational expectation of service and ensures that:
- Internal deliberations, correspondence, and records are handled with care;
- Sensitive personal or governmental data is not disclosed;
- Intellectual work and cultural assets belonging to the Principality remain protected.
The NDA is not a formality. It reflects the high standards of trust and responsibility expected of those who participate in national service. Breaches of confidentiality, even accidental, may result in immediate removal from one’s post and revocation of volunteer status.
Volunteers working in digital, archival, or public-facing roles may also receive guidelines on cybersecurity, document handling, and communications protocol as part of their onboarding.
Appointments & Oaths
Certain roles—particularly at Level III and IV—require a Letter of Appointment, a Confidentiality Undertaking, or a formal Oath of Service. The relevant Office or Undersecretary will guide you through this process. All volunteers are expected to act with discretion, uphold the dignity of the state, and avoid conflicts of interest.
Expression of Interest
To express your interest in volunteering, please complete the Volunteer Application Form below and indicate the areas in which you believe you can be of service. A member of the Royal Chancellery or Secretariat will follow up with further information.
We look forward to welcoming you into the quiet and noble work of statecraft.
Organisational Affiliation
All volunteer activities in support of the Principality of Kaharagia are administered through Kaharaži Vondacija, a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organisation based in the United States. Kaharazi Vondacija serves as the official institutional partner for the Principality’s cultural, educational, and diplomatic programmes.
Volunteer appointments, onboarding, and correspondence are coordinated under its auspices, and all service is conducted in alignment with its legal and ethical standards.
Kaharazi Vondacija reserves the right to approve, pause, or conclude volunteer engagements in accordance with its governing policies and in consultation with the relevant Kaharagian offices.
Compensation & Support for Volunteers
The Principality of Kaharagia does not currently maintain any salaried positions. Service is offered in a spirit of civic contribution, cultural stewardship, and shared ideals, not financial gain.
That said, the Principality recognises the practicalities involved in certain forms of service. Accordingly:
Reimbursement may be available for pre-approved expenses directly related to official duties (e.g. postage, printing, ceremonial items).
Official materials—such as certificates, regalia templates, digital assets, or ceremonial documentation—may be provided by the Principality at no cost to the volunteer, depending on the nature of the role.
All volunteers are encouraged to serve within their means. No one will be asked to assume financial burden in the course of their service.
If you have questions about role-specific support or eligible reimbursements, you may contact the Royal Chancellery or the relevant Office overseeing your appointment.
