Official Designation of the Capitals of the State of Palestine and the State of Israel
In consideration of the longstanding principles of international law and the consistent resolutions of the United Nations concerning the status of Jerusalem, the state of Kaharagia hereby reaffirms its position regarding the capitals of the State of Palestine and the State of Israel.
The State has, since its inception, recognised Jerusalem as the rightful capital of the State of Palestine, in accordance with the legitimate aspirations of the Palestinian people and the corpus of international instruments affirming their sovereign rights.
Conversely, for diplomatic, ceremonial, and administrative purposes, the State of Israel shall be designated by Kaharagia as having its seat of government in Tel Aviv-Jaffa, pending the attainment of a just and comprehensive settlement to the question of Jerusalem's final status.
This position reflects Kaharagia's enduring commitment to the principles of international legitimacy, peaceful coexistence among nations, and respect for the sovereign equality of states. It further aligns with the State's established practice of adopting precise and respectful nomenclature in the conduct of its external relations.
Accordingly, the following conventions shall be observed in all Kaharagian documents, publications, and communications:
1. Jerusalem shall be identified as the capital of the State of Palestine.
2. Tel Aviv-Jaffa shall be identified as the capital of the State of Israel.
3. This designation shall apply uniformly across all Kaharagian diplomatic correspondence, treaties, records, and public references until such time as a mutually recognised final agreement determines otherwise.
This notice takes immediate effect and shall be observed by all organs, offices, and missions of the State.
