Further to the announcement of his death, it is notified that, in accordance with the clearly expressed wishes of the late Prince Raymond, Count Ericksen, his body will be cremated. A funeral service will be held in private, attended by members of the family and a small number of invited guests.

In due course, his cremated remains will be reverently laid to rest in the Royal Mausoleum of the Royal Family, once the appropriate territory has been formally established and the mausoleum completed. No further ceremonies are presently envisaged.
