Notice concerning the Funeral Arrangements of the Late Princess Sheilla, Countess Ericksen
Further to the announcement of her death, it is notified that, in accordance with her clearly expressed wishes, the body of the late Princess, Countess Ericksen, will be cremated. A funeral service will be held in private, attended by members of the family and a small number of invited guests.
In due course, her cremated remains will be reverently laid to rest alongside those of her late husband, Prince Raymond, Count Ericksen, in the Royal Mausoleum of the Royal Family, once the appropriate territory has been formally established and the mausoleum completed. No further ceremonies are presently envisaged.
Coming so soon after the death of his grandfather, this second bereavement has, as can well be imagined, been a very hard time for His Royal Highness The Prince. He nevertheless wishes to record his deep gratitude for the many messages of sympathy and kindness received, which have brought great comfort to him and to the Royal Family at this difficult time.
